The three young musician/songwriters who comprise Greta’s Bakery— vocalist Greta Panettieri, bassist/guitarist Mike LaValle ad keyboardist Andrea Sammartino, merge a wealth of influences and experiences into a vibrantly eclectic jazz/pop/funk mix that’s both sophisticated and effortlessly catchy, making Greta’s Bakery one of the freshest musical surprises in recent memory.

Greta's Bakery reflects the different qualities of its components that are able to mix their origins through their music.The band's sound has been compared to the one of Sade, Michael Jackson, Swing out Sister, Steely Dan, Flora Purim, but it's Evident that Greta's Bakery has a strong musical personality and a very refreshing sound.

About their return in Europe Greta says: “After having been away for almost 11 years from Italy and Europe, we wanted to share all the different experiences and the musical growth with our people... In 2009 we had a chance to tour around Europe with Joe Jackson, as we were opening for him, and it’s been wonderful, anywhere we’d go it was a success, and it really showed us that the European audience would very much appreciate and enjoy our music”.
